The redesign is credited to ad2, the El Segundo based Interactive Agency that has been operating as the Interactive Agency of Record for SANYO North America web properties.
The new site design focuses on SANYO's Brand Vision to "Think GAIA", which means developing and manufacturing innovative products essential to sustaining life and protecting Earth's precious resources for future generations. SANYO's commitment to energy and environment-related products spans both consumer and commercial lines and the new site design allows each business unit to have a unique voice, while maintaining the overall SANYO brand. The site features an intuitive and easy-to-use navigation that is supported by ad2's Insite Manager(TM), an extensive Content Management System (CMS) that allows easy updates and maintenance of the products and information.
With the partnership between the two companies spanning more than 6 years, ad2 was uniquely qualified for this redesign project. ad2's initial venture with SANYO was the launch of us.sanyo.com in 2003.
